Starts and Finishes

Among everything else I had to do today, I had Taryn's birthday cake to make.  And wouldn't ya know it, the stupid cake wouldn't come out of the pan that I baked it in.  Arg!  I wasn't happy. So under all that pink frosting is a combined cake glued together with frosting.  

I wasn't the only one who had last minute things to do.  At 7pm tonight, Tyson was making his Wizard of OZ character for his class's trunk-or-treat trunk.  So here is the beginning of his tin man.

The tin man actually didn't look half bad for some poster board, a marker and aluminum foil.  I say he is ready for he trunk.

And after several tutorials on You Tube, I managed to make Taryn a beautiful cake.  Now I just hope she likes it.
